Ayla the Fox

This inspirational children’s picture book tells the adventurous story of the world’s most popular fox. It’s the true story of the close bond between an endangered animal and her human “mom.” Ayla was destined to become somebody’s fur coat… but Sijle Fjell had other plans! She rescued Ayla from a fur farm when the little fox was just 4 weeks old.

Leiv Magnus Grøtte has worked as a professional copywriter for more than 25 years and has written the lyrics to several popular Norwegian songs.

The adoptive human “mother” of Ayla the fox, Silje Elin Matnisdal, comes from a small village in Norway. She grew up on a farm and has always had an inherent and strong relationship with animals.
